THE VILLAGE OF NORTH LEWISBURG COUNCIL HAS DECLARED MAY 15th THRU MAY 22TH, 2022 AS SPRING CLEAN UP WEEK BY OHIO GENERAL CODE # 521-08. FREE COMMUNITY YARD SALES ON MAY 20, 21, 22. NO PERMIT REQUIRED. All residents, property owners and business places are urged to comply and work to beautify their properties by removing unsightly debris, trash and junk vehicles. Dumpsters will be placed at the Village Garage located on East St. from FRIDAY MORNING MAY 20th thru SATURDAY MORNING MAY 21st. Residents will be allowed to place items in the dumpsters from 8 AM – 3 PM (or until Dumpsters are full). AS ALWAYS, PER THE VILLAGE OF NORTH LEWISBURG CONTRACT WITH REPUBLIC SERVICES, YOU MAY CALL REPUBLIC SERVICES AT 937-593-3566, FOR A 1 TIME PER MONTH LARGE ITEM PICK UP AND HAVE UNLIMITED BAGS DURING YOUR REGULAR SERVICE TIMES. RESIDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO FURNISH VERIFICATION OF RESIDENCY SUCH AS A WATER BILL STUB. ANYONE OTHER THAN VILLAGE RESIDENTS USING THE DUMPSTERS WILL BE PROSECUTED.  LIST OF UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS

The North Lewisburg Village Council on Tuesday unanimously approved a resolution declaring the week of May 10-17 to be “Spring Clean Up Week.” Containers for garbage and recyclables will be available for residents during the week. Free community yard sales will be allowed without a village permit May 10, 11 and 12 during daylight hours. In response to several complaints, council approved the installation of signs barring parking on the west side of North Gregory Street. Also at this meeting, council unanimously approved a mosquito spraying contract with A1-Able for the same cost as last year. |
